TM NET Offers 4.0MBps Streamyx Package

A good news for all the Malaysian as TM NET has just announced its new 4.0MBps Streamyx package. This might be the faster home DSL pacakge in Malaysia. However, the coverage of this package is still limited to areas within Selangor, KL and Putrajaya.
So, how about the subscription fee? The introductory offer at only RM 198 per month. This is offered to the customers that sign-up before 17th June 2007. After the promotional period, the customers need to pay RM 268 per month as their subscription fee.
The following items will be bundled together with the package:
- Modem
- TMNet Hotspot
- e-Browse (online newspaper)
- BB Phone (voice over broadband)

I have confirmed with the TMNET Customer Service, new or exisisting subscribers need to pay additional of RM 88 of installation fee and RM 75 of activiation fee. I am thinking of the upgrade since my area is available for the service, but RM 198 per month sounds a bit expensive to me. Hopefully they can launch another good promotional offer after getting feedbacks from customers.
